Recently Zong has announced that they are upgrading SIMs of
their customers for 4G services totally free – this will be applied in only
those cities where Zong 4G services are available.
Now Zong customers who are living in 4G coverage areas can
replace their old SIMs with new 4G compatible SIMs for free.
Zong customers in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi,
Quetta, Faisalabad and Peshawar can replace their old SIMs and get new 4G compatible
SIMs for free from their nearest Zong franchise or service centers.
These SIMs are better in technology than any other network SIMs
in Pakistan. Zong is calling it Universal SIMs ( USIMs ). Universal SIMs comes
with enhanced security features that controls and protects from any security leakages,
like Gemalto hack incident.
