And the big news is here as our reports about the launch of iPhone devices in Pakistan have turned out to be true as anything.
And the news is: Ufone has become the first operator in Pakistan to announce the launch of iPhone devices in the country.
Starting today, Ufone will start accepting pre-orders for both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and as per Ufone, both the devices will be available on at company sales and service centres from December 11th, 2014.
You can go ahead and get your pre-order placed on this link: ufone.com/iPhone6.
Currently Ufone is holding the price related information from press,
but we are told that it won’t be more than the official price
of iPhone’s unlocked version.
Expect iPhone 6’s base model to start at or around Rs. 80,000 per unit.
Not to mention, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are being sold at around Rs. 100,000 and Rs. 115,000 respectively.
With the official launch of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 in Pakistan, Apple
products will now be offered with warranties and replacement plans,
depending on the claims and their type. So its not just the price, but a
lot more on the platter with this official launch of iPhone in
Pakistan.
We are likely to get more details about the Ufone’s prices and other
related information in a day or two. Users can expect free 3G from Ufone
for few months coming along with the deal.
If you remember, Ufone hinted about the launch of iPhone devices in Pakistan back in July and since then we were just looking forward to the announcement that is just made by the company.
Not to mention, currently iPhone devices are shipped to Pakistan
through grey channels and are usually prices 20% more than the original
cost. This is going to change now. With the official launch of iPhone
smartphones in Pakistan, you will be able to purchase iPhones on the day
of availability at international prices (for unlocked devices).
We are currently not aware of any contracts or subsidized iPhone 6
versions, but special packages are definitely going to be on the cards.
Let’s wait and watch.
