| Biometric SIM Re-verification |
Last night media was reported that Speaker Nation Assembly,
Ayaz Sadiq visited his SIM mobile operator franchise in order to re-verify his
SIM through biometric verification but his thumb expression was rejected due to
mismatch with NADRA database. He performed some attempts but got rejected every
time so now his SIM is still unverified.
Such cases are also faced by many other people such as labors
who work so hard, diabetes patients, old people whose thumb impressions get
faded and dull with time. Cellular operator companies are referring these cases
to NADRA to update thumb impressions of such people. This is a big problem for
people who live in rural areas where there are limited no of NADRA offices and
e-sahulat centers.
